Andrea: Is there a single aerial feeding multiple points? If it uses a powered splitter (booster/amplifier) then its integrity must come under suspicion.

If there is an amplifier involved - which is also applicable if it's a communal aerial - then this could have failed. Do not assume that because its power light is on that it is functioning normally.

k: Presumably you are using the Tacolneston transmitter. According to Digital UK, this week Tacolneston's TV service is "liable to interruption".

David Curtis: Do you have a device such as a Sky box putting out an analogue signal on or near C49?
Has this always been the case?
I am wondering if you don't have line-of-sight. Crowborough is 15 miles away and sits on high ground which may be in the way.

David Curtis: Having made my earlier posting I have had a look at your local area. Clearly the trees might be the issue. I can see that there are quite a few bungalows and that aerials are on tall poles.
Perhaps, therefore, that the answer is to try moving the aerial, your objective being to find a spot where they are all good.

Phil: You can use any free-to-air box (such as Freesat) and you can do this without adjusting the dish because for Freesat and Sky the dish is 100% identical.
As with Sky, if you have a recorder you will need two feeds from the dish in order to be able to watch one channel whilst recording another.

Graham Chamberlain: Is there a tree (or trees) between you and the transmitter?
If you go to the manual tuning screen and enter/select C44, but do not press the button to scan, see if it gives an indication as to the strength and quality on that channel. Some receivers give more away than others, so it might be worth looking at them all.

Andrew: There have been no 800MHz 4G tests in your area.
Without knowledge of your location it is impossible to address such an issue. A location, preferably in the form of a postcode or that of a nearby shop, is required so as to check predicted signals at the location.
The only answer can be a general one. Are there trees somewhere along the signal path? Assuming that they're deciduous then leaves grew a few months back. After dark it cools down and the air gets damp.
