Would it not be an idea for all the existing or forthcoming Channel 8 local freeview TV stations to post their contact details, i.e. their e-mail address and phone number both for advertisers and viewers alike on their respective sights?

I it possible for those who live in areas covered by different area multiplexes, meaning the regional differences between channels 1 to 4, to install aerials pointing towards the two transmitters serving the fringe area in which they live and receive both sets of signals by splitting onto different receiver buttons?

It has now been announced "That's Solent" TV will be starting on June 26th 2014 which is six months later than originally stated. Why is this? Also it is stated that the station will belong to a local multiplex broadcasting only to the Southampton area. Do they really mean from Rowridge broadcasting also to Winchester, Fareham and Portsmouth with local news outlets from local multiplexes? Please clarify.

Does the signal for the new local TV multiplex have a strict cut off at the edge of the transmission area? I am thinking of the forthcoming "That's Solent" station due to begin eminating from Rowridge later in 2014. Will the station be receivable on Hayling Island with a good external aerial?

Does the reception area of the new local TV station for the London area transmitting from Crystal Palace equal or come close to the area covered by London region of ITV and if not why not?

Is it necessary in order to receive the new local TV stations available in city areas for the receiving aerial to be more directional in view of the lower power used and will reception be more vulnerable to high winds?

Has Brian Butterworth really taken leave of his senses? The regional news programme on BBC1 is about the only programme that some busy people watch. To suggest that they should stop covering the regions is completely rediculous as surely every intelligent person is interested in the area in which they live and in some homes actually takes the place of the local newspaper which recently have become increasingly unaffordable for those on a limited budget. Brian should try living in the real world today.

Is it possible to publish a list of all the forthcoming channel 8 freeview local stations, their coverage area and approximate on air dates? I'm sure this would be much appreciated as their is a strong demand for local news programmes.
