Below are all of James's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page. There is some really poor reception from TAC at the moment - especially on the BBC B Mux which coincides with BBC 1 Waltham and is only 5KW ERP.
Hope this weather pattern shifts soon.

Do you have 2 aerials on your roof like many in North Norfolk - one horizontal pointing to Belmont and one vertial pointing to a local transmitter?
If so use analogue for BBC 1 East until the switchover (Tacolneston group) and then retune when TAC switches over. Didn't you get the Digital UK leaflet through your door that explains this?
If not follow Mike's recommendations.

Well just retuned 17KM SE of TAC.
Great - lost MUX D and 2. Rest OK. Will try again in the morning.

Try a retune - but are you sure you are not on Aldeburgh and not Tacolneston being in Southwold....

Mike Smith: You can't be Mustard south of SE of Tacolneston as the Tx is directional and the other sides are screened too.
No reception in Harleston, Bungay, Beccles, Diss and even weak in Long Stratton.

John Lloyd: Mendlesham doesn't have Norwich DAB on it. Stoke HC is the main Tx and is less directional than it once was.

I have to laugh at all of this. a) The BBC does not own the transmission side anymore - the tories made them sell it off under John Major. In fact they don't even do the "play out" - that is contracted to Red Bee. All they do is make and commission programs and put the schedule together. It is up to Arquiva to inform you and it is all channels impacted. b) without preventative and regular maintenance your Tx would fail and you'd have nothing. Painting is key to this - like the Forth Road bridge c) I guess that due to digital swithover that time is tight with personnel. and also please don't blame this website - it is on the BBC website BBC - FAQs - Why am I having problems receiving signals from the Reigate transmitter? and you'll notice no other broadcasters have told you this!
