Below are all of Mark Wood's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Maureen Davidson : The link to the 5USA website is at the top of this page Maureen. You could ask them, but to be honest it is an awkward time for the 5 group of channels to be picking up shows as Viacom (who own 5) are about to do some pretty major changes to their channels. Viacom are going to stop broadcasting the channel VIVA on Freeview and replace it with Spike.
Also, I have to say that 5 have a pretty lousy record with broadcasting US imports. Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Parenthood, Archer, Once Upon A Time and Helix are all US shows that 5, 5* or 5USA started broadcasting and then they either dropped, shuffled around the schedules or switched channels.

Twish G: Sorry, but you seem to have misread the channel details at the top of the page. Pick +1 is available on Sky channel 153. Pick TV is owned by Sky (it is in effect the old Sky Three channel). Personally, I would have thought it fairly unlikely that the Pick +1 channel would come to Freeview anytime soon for a whole host of reasons.

Chris Ayers: As 'That's Oxford' is not broadcasting to Southampton, Portsmouth or Bournemouth it would be unlikely to feature programmes for those areas.
That is, when it actually starts broadcasting of course - sometime in March is the latest date apparently.

steve kingett: This is not the website of That's Solent (or any other TV channel) Steve. Their website does not appear to be up and running yet.
I believe that their telephone number is (020) 7612 4141.

tony jepson: First of all Tony did you mean True Entertainment rather than True Movies 2? Although owned by the same company these are two separate channels and True Movies 2 is not available on Freeview.
Do you have any evidence that viewers are 'walking away' in droves? In fact the viewing figures for True Entertainment are actually up for January 2015 compared to December 2014. The advertisers probably sign 'group' deals with either CSC media or CSC's parent company Sony Europe to advertise across multiple platforms.
I cannot for the life of me work out why any commercial channel would purchase any programme and then broadcast only two out of the three episodes for example. It seems to be utterly counterproductive. As I have pointed out in previous posts, compliance issues could cause an episode not to be broadcast but it seems to be happening too frequently for that to be the explanation. All seems very poor. But would failing to broadcast all episodes of a programme in the correct sequence be grounds for OFCOM to revoke their licence? Doubtful.

Lord David Harrison: I'm sure that they would be interested, but this is not the website for That's Solent or any other channel. Their website seems to be still under construction.
As I posted in reply to Steve Kingett's message (the message directly above yours) I believe that the contact telephone number for That's Solent is (020) 7612 4141

steve kingett: No problem Steve.
If you have any problems contacting them on that number it would be appreciated if you let us know here. Thanks.

Mel Smith: As someone posted earlier on in this thread the start date for That's Oxford has been pushed back a number of times now. The start date had been publicised as 28th January 2015 but as Nick posted earlier in this thread that date has been pushed back by a couple of months now - so sometime in March 2015 is best guess at the moment.
This has happened in a couple of other areas which were scheduled to have new Local TV channels as well, whereas I know of at least two areas which probably wish there Local channel had pushed the start date back in order to allow more time to get things right.
Again I must point out that this is not the website of the channel, which is still under construction I believe.

Jon Charles: Yes it is frustrating, but this is NOT the website of the channel "True Entertainment". Their website at www.truemovies.com/ seems to have been under construction for months now.
They do just seem to see all these shows as content to broadcast between the adverts with little regard for what order they are showing a series in, what aspect ratio it is broadcast in or indeed whether they show all the episodes of a series.

Stoke-on-trent
Sue martin: They usually show the second part of a two part story the following day. Unless they show part one on a Friday in which case they should show part two on the Monday.
That said True Entertainment have a terrible habit of showing episodes of a number of series out of sequence and repeating episodes that they have already shown again.
I should also point out that this not the website of the channel - that can be found at www.truemovies.com
