This transmitter is a "type R" in my database, so I have updated it and it now shows in the table above.

So that just leaves

Rog: The information about Long Wave transmitters is not in the Ofcom database, and the service will be shut down when they run out of valves.

"We accept that some trade-offs are also required in the way that radio services are distributed

In line with this approach, we agree with the plans to not re-invest in Long Wave technology once the current infrastructure, which relies on technology that is no longer being manufactured, has reached the end of
its life. Although this is unlikely to happen for several years, we welcome the Executive's commitment to make the existing programmes provided on LW available on other analogue BBC radio stations, so remaining as accessible to listeners as they are now. "

michael: one plan in the ofcom list suggests that the three coms become sfns, with more psb sfns to save frequency allocations.

David: I certainly hope not. What would I have to do with my spare time???

David: The multiplex capacity that is under Ofcom's control is on PSB2/D3+4, and this will have to be SD.

It certainly would make sense for Ofcom to insist that the "public service commitment" includes providing HD versions of Channel 3 and 5 on all platforms.

Mark: Sorry to disagree with Josh, but you shouldn't use C62 in the future as you will be making an unlicensed broadcast.

Des Collier: Sort of normal.

The BBC budget cuts means that the extra pile of satellite streams for BBCi will reduce down to just one.

Endrit: Assuming you can get a suitable signal, a Freeview box ("DVB-T") should work in Kosovo.
