PJH: Nothing listed on Eutelsat 28A & Astra 1N/2A/2F at 28.2°E - LyngSat at the moment.
I also note the incorrect name of "Ulster TV"...

rob: The DAB coverage is being extended by adding in lots of filler transmitters, not by increasing the power of the existing ones.
This is necessary because DAB, unlike FM is a single frequency network.

michael: Modern thinking is that it is better to not have a "single point of failure" in your network.
Much better to use DAB, where you can use small-scale UPS solutions over the whole network.
You might have small areas that fail, but a single power cut can't take out the whole of the network.
