RDD: I would not recommend it, your best signals are from Crystal Palace. You should raise the aerial up higher to get a better line of sight.

How about Freesat...?

Strathearn: Freesat+HD has a full radio EPG, and interactive radio "red button" stuff the same as Freeview.

Yes, there are lots of other advantages to Freesat+HD, this page I created because lots of people have asked about how to change a Sky+HD box for a Freesat+HD one.

bob: Yes. If you have Windows 7 you will have Windows Media Center - this you can use with any DVB-T device to turn your computer into a digtal TV "personal video recorder".

There are any number of single- and double-tuner DVB-T USB devices out there.

There only a few DVB-T2 devices at the moment (for Freeview HD), and you will need a more powerful computer to be able to show Full HD.

If you want to use FreeSAT you will need a dish and a DVB-S2 (satellite) USB device for your PC.

Dave Smith: The limit is the number of outputs from the LNB package. A single LNB, one, a quad LNB four and a oct-LNB eight.

Freesat+ recorder boxes, like all satellite recorders, take up two outputs.

Jackie M: You would use an HDMI cable from the Freeview HD recorder to the TV.

Does the DVD player have HDMI output? If so use HDMI there.

That leaves your single SCART for the VCR.
