ian, notts: Yes, BBCB is used for Freeview HD on every transmitter. NEW7 and NEW8 are for Local TV - if an when it launches.
Any DVB-T box will not identify BBCB's signal, only DVB-T2 equipment can see it.

Steve: Sounds like you have too much signal. If you have any boosters or amplifiers, remove them from your system. If you don't, you may have to fit an amplifier.
The TV Licence pays for the BBC services, not for a "digital experience".

Paul: You can get signals now from Sutton Coldfield, Waltham and Sandy Heath - it depends on the direct your aerial points.

Alison: If you aerial points at the Guildford transmitter, you get Freeview HD next year. If you use the Crystal Palace transmitter, you will have Freeview HD today.
