U: I wasn't sure if you were asking in percentage or absolute terms...
UTV has 2.46% of ITV's homes, compared with 18.42% for London, 11.62% for Granada, 10.94% for Central West, 10.09% for Yorkshire.

David: There nothing wrong with the transmissions, the television transmitter regions have always overlapped since they were brought into service.
Nothing will change when Emley Moor switches over as the Belmont channel frequencies are below those on Emley Moor and if your Freeview box stores the lowest frequencies this will not change.

What does "above first floor DAB listening" mean?
It means the DAB receiver will work if it, or at least the aerial, is located on the first floor of a domestic property.
"BBC National DAB 12B at 5000W" is the key for the cyan coloured area on the map. It means that the transmitter has a power output of 5kW for the BBC National DAB multiplex.
I can assure you that the transmitter does "broadcast continually".
If your reception changes during the year, this does rather suggest that there are trees that come into leaf between you and the transmitter.

Peter Henderson: The DSO process (well, for the view) starts two weeks before it ends, so "the middle of the year" must be referring to preparatory work.

Nigel: You might have to use two aerials in the long run, so you can get the Leeds BBC and ITV services as well as the three commercial multiplexes.

Phil Brown: Sorry, I changed the message to "no analogue TV" and pasted in "digital" in error. I have correct this and it shows the correct information now.
Thanks for pointing that out and your kind comments.
