stewart curtis: By the sounds of things, it sounds like you have too much signal and you are in an excellent reception area.

If the splitter has an amplifier you should try removing it and seeing if you get good reception bypassing it. If you do, use a passive splitter (y-connectors) rather than a booster.

paul limb: Do you mean Freesat from Sky? You might need to have your dish realigned to the satellites to have it work in all conditions.

TVTUNER: Yes, as above

"ArqA restricted to 20kW from DSO 2 'until further notice'. ArqB starts up on C41 (final channel is C47) and restricted to 20kW. (Ofcom say C41 is allocated to SDN at this transmitter and there's no note. DUK shows final channels at DSO 2 but does show two 'COM late power up' events.)"

PSB multiplexes broadcast on three old analogue frequencies.

carl: The usual reason for this would be that you have enabled one of the "Dolby" modes, but do not have a suitable amplifier. If you can see "Dolby" in the TV's "Sound settings" menu, turn it back to "stereo".
