Neil: Unless the dish has not been used since 2003, it will be already pointing at the correct satellite cluster.

Ian Cooper: If you have an older HD Ready TV set, the it will have a DVI input, which is also digital. You can get a simple connector (such as
DVID to HDMI Gender Changer : Digital Monitor Cables : Maplin
), but it has no audio so you will need to connect this with another cable.

I can't really say if your proposed Panasonic device has a DVB-T2 tuner or not as you didn't provide a model number.

Caroline dunne : If you can get a Freeview signal, yes, otherwise you will have to use FreeSAT - see How can I get Channel 5 on Sky in Ireland? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice

Amewsed: Oh yes, sorry. You won't be able to get a decent service from the Sheffield transmitter until mid 2012.

You should be able get to get all the services perfectly well from Emley Moor.

Andy B: OK, you only have the ability (as Mike says above) to get signal from "Freeview Light" transmitters at that postcode.

If you want more channels, then you have to use Freesat - see Compare Freeview Light and Freesat TV | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .
