Becky: Yes, it is worth trying again. There are several relay transmitters in the area which are now "Freeview Light" digital transmitters.

Bertie: In that case then I suspect there is a problem with the device, rather than a problem with the signal. I guess only Sony can help.

Jon: Yes, some Freeview HD devices have problems with the way the BBC HD channels auto-selects 1080i and 1080p modes.
