Eric Half Bee: If you don't clear your channel list when you rescan, when a channel moves multiplex you will be left with an "artefact" in the 800-899 range. Stuart O.: A signal overload will cause no damage, just loss of service. The set-top box will implement an "internal fuse" if high signal levels are detected to protect itself.
