LutonFan: I suppose you have to remember that these people are salespeople on commission, not impartial technical consultants.
But, yes, the best thing to do with such advice is to leave the store.

AlvinF: That's not correct. Sky Atlantic is a new channel, Sky3 is being moved to another channel number.
