Jen: It could be the cable that connects your aerial point to the TV, or it could be the tuner in the TV.
If it's the "fly lead", just replace it.
If it's the tuner then you could confirm this by borrowing a Freeview box and seeing if that works.

David: Sky uses their "marketing budget" to provide discounted access to their platform for HD channels, as being able to claim they are "exclusive" allows Sky to sell more Sky+HD boxes with their £10 a month additional fee.

Tony: If the reset procedures don't work, then you will have no actual signal.
This could be because the dish has moved, the LNB has failed, the cables are damaged or the box is faulty.

Iain Davies: There is nothing complicated about the stereoscopic stuff, it just contains the left-eye and right-eye parts of the picture squashed into the full-frame.
It will transfer just fine to other media, as long as the flag tagging the content as 3D is stored, a 3D device will chop, frame-store, stretch and display the content.

dmr: Loft aerials are unsuitable for reliable Freeview reception, please fit your aerial on the roof.
Also you should not that your best transmitter option is Bluebell Hill, but only after 27th June 2012 or Crystal Palace after 18th April 2012.
