This transmitter has no current reported problems
The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Bridport (Dorset, England) transmitter.UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Our local transmitter in Bridport is shit. Not good enough- all tx's should transmit ALL freeview services. We get interference from bloody foreign tx too. Only decent one here is Stockland hill. Hope our shite one blows over in storms or catches fire- it wouldn't reduce the quality of rx much.

Whilst your website states no problems with the Stockland transmitter, our TVs are not getting a reception. Please advise what time and date the message was put on?

David Peters & Iain Cochrane: The Bridport Freeview transmitter page (this is the Bridport DAB page) currently have a notification from transmitter engineering that the transmitter has been off air since 17:35 today. Clearly the engineers are aware and are no doubt working to fix the problem.
Do not attempt to retune your TV or box as this will cause all your channels to be deleted. Your channels will return on their own once the transmitter is back on air.

Since adjustments were made to the Bridport relay tv transmitter last week I find that between every 4-5 minutes on Freeview, both picture and sound break up. I retuned my set but the fault still occurs.

There is planned engineering work at many of the West Country transmitters and relays this week with "Possible weak signal" or "Possible service interruptions" depending on which transmitter.
