Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Thanet (Kent, England) mast?

No problems on any service. BBC

UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

What is wrong with the Classic FM signal in Margate (CT93YH)? The signal continually fades to almost zero every 15 seconds.

I am at Kingsgate, nr Broadstairs. I used to get a good DAB signal for Classic FM. I also have an outside aerial. In the last few days Classic keeps breaking up. Any comments.
Thanks

Brian - thanks for that. At least I know I'm not alone in this. My aerial is just the piece of wire, but its fine for all other except National D1. We had the same trouble about a year or so ago, but then it was fine until a couple of weeks back when it started fading to nothing again.

Brian: Mazbar. I have a Triax 5 Element Dab aerial pointing towards the relay on an outside wall. Worked perfectly until about 2 weeks ago. I think there is something wrong with the relay signal. Thanks

Brian - I wish I knew who to complain to. In desperation I mailed the BBC, but they sent a nice reply back saying that they commiserated but can only investigate issues specifically regarding their transmitters, which D1 National is not.
