Dear Sir/Madam
My post code is YO21 1BY. I have lost all digital signal today for both radio and TV. Your website shows no problems with the Whitby transmitter. Is there a problem?
Many thanks
Tim Burnhill

Tim Burnhill: There are no faults showing for the Whitby transmitter. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

Tim Burnhill is definitely correct. No TV, FM or DAB from the Whitby transmitter at the moment...

Tim Burnhill: we've also lost all signal all day, and also all our neighbours at Yo21 3Ap so I don't think a loose cable could be the cause!

Thursday 9th May.
I'm in a caravan above Robin Hoods Bay. I don't know my postcode but after the storm of
yesterday and last night I've woken up to find I have no DTV signal.
Is it me.

LINDA BIRD:
Without a full post code it is impossible to help. Please ask others at the site if they know the post code. There is more than one Robin Hoods Bay in the UK so you could be anywhere, hence the need for the full post code. It could be that the storm has damage your aerial system?

David:
The BBC don't appear to be reporting any faults at the moment and the transmitter isn't listed for Planned Engineering. However for radio I think it's relay of Pontop Pike and that is listed for Planned Engineering so it's possible there may be interruptions to transmission.
