I am rebooting my sky box but when we get to the page that is add channels this is blank and I cannot therefore highlight the s4c digidol and complete the process can you help

I've recently subscribed to ESPN on TopUp TV but it didn't work. After speaking to their CS, it turns out I am not receiving tuning channel 54 from Winter Hill (I live in Chester). Apparently I'm getting some channels from Wales so the tuning goes from 51 to 55 skipping 54. How can I get my box to tune frequency 54? I've been told to get an attenuator, will that help?

Clint: ESPN is carried on the SDN multiplex which is on C58 from Winter Hill. You will not receive C54, which is the HD mux unless you have a TV or Freeview HD box that supports DVB-T2. Incidentally if the signal from Wales is strong enough to give stable reception you should also receive ESPN on the SDN Wales frequency.

I moved from a new apartment, London E14 where I got all the tv channels on my new Sony Bravia HD tv to a 1982 house in London SE13 and have lost most of the tv channels and mainly receive BBC channels now. My friend has been up into the loft and have found a huge tv aerial. I don't know what else to do to get the freeview channels. There is also cable wired in the house but I do not use cable tv. I plugged in my tv to an aerial socket in the wall in the living room.

LUCY DOOLEY: Loft aerials are often poor for Freeview reception, but it is impossible to be specific without a full postcode.

Hi had a new sky+box fitted 22nd aug engineer left said channel would appear soon then nothing no sky channels spoke to sky said an error wait 72hrs to fix what? any help please

Ariel on roof KA24 4DQ
since digital changeover I have not been able to get freeview picture & sound.
Ariel has been checked by tv engineer where it comes into house and is ok.
when freeview box is connected up it detects 81 channels but gives a message saying no ariel connection.
Please tell me how to sort this out, have tried it on two different tvs and get same message.
