Thank you for all the information, Sky have told me there is nothing wrong so I'm very relieved to know that my picture is fuzzy because of changes to the Tacolneston transmitter!
To correct this I can get in to the RF Outlets screen and change the channel number but the change won't hold - every time I hit select or scroll down to the 'Save New Settings' option the screen goes to black and white fuzz then a solid blue. If I go back in the number has reverted to 68. Please can you help, thank you.

Is it at all possible to receive British Eurosport through my Freeview box? I realise there must be a charge involved somewhere as it's actually a pay-channel, so is the Top-Up TV service the way to go for this?

Sunflower: Try taking out the Sky boxes RF input lead from your normal aerial "before" trying to alter the modulators RF output channel and see if that works, as if it doesn't and you are using the correct procedure, which you appear to be doing, then that's inclined to indicate a fault with the box.

jacko: Basically its by keeping the Sky boxes RF output channel away from any of the channels used by Tacolneston Freeview service.

Take the normal aerial (from roof) plug out of the Sky boxes aerial input, then on the Sky boxes remote control press "Services", then whilst NOT looking at the screen press "4 - 0 - 1 - Select" in one smooth operation without hesitating between anything.

You should now see a list with RF output being mentioned, punch in any number at least two channels "AWAY" from any of these Tacolneston Mux channel numbers, 53 - 58 - 60 - 61 - 63 - 64.

Finally replace the Sky boxes normal aerial input and re-tune your analogue TV to pick up the Sky boxes new RF channel.

PS: Should you not see the selection list after going through the "4-0-1-select" sequence, then its because it wasn't done smoothly enough.

I have a Samsung HDTV and have just purchased a Samsung BDD-HD Combo player, both have built-in freeview. On the TV I can get all the freeview channels. But on the player I only get half of them no matter how many times I re-tune it. Please could someone help me as to how I can get all the freeeview channels on my player as they are on the TV.

Jacko - I did as jb38 has said but couldn't get the channel I picked (21) to stick when I'd hit select, I could back-up out and it reverted to 68. In the end (very frustrated!) I hit select several times and it worked, just be aware that you'll lose the picture so don't panic that you've broken the box! If you then retune your TV by scanning automatically it should pick up a lovely non-fuzzy Sky channel.

I downloaded the software onto the box again first as I did think I may have broken it but this wasn't necessary.

As a tip, if your remote has a red light that shows when you press the numbers watch that when you're doing the 4-0-1-select sequence. You can then see for sure that the buttons are registering quickly or you may have to press harder.

Hope this helps! :o).

I have a FortecStar HD STB. Requested info on CH4HD They issued Manual Scan details (TP freq, LNB polarity, Symbol rate etc) These are then saved and a scan run.
Failed - no sign of the new channel.
BBC1HD was installed manually OK but by selecting BBC HD initially and then the manual scan.
Any clues.
