I have a tv in each of the kids bedrooms. They both have freeview, which was already on the tv's. One of them has always had problems, which we thought we sorted out. Now when one of the tv's is turned on the other one loses its channels but it doesn't happen vise versa if you know what i mean. I live in Plympton devon, any ideas

Strange fault! but as you report it doesn't happen in a vice versa fashion then that could indicate the problem is with a particular set, so for a test try swapping the sets over and see if the problem also changes place.
Just out of interest what brands are the sets and what method do you use to feed their aerial inputs?

I live in SE21 8SE and have a digital Freeview TV. For the past few days I have been unable to get ITV3 and one other channel. Channels 8 and 10. I have tried reinstalling all the digital channels on three occasions but those two remain unavailable.

Pamela Ruben: Considering you are so close to the Crystal Palace Multiplex transmitters (approx 1 mile) I would think that if any power had been reduced at the station you would hardly notice it, that said though as nothing has been reported power reduction wise I would have a check on the aerial connections to the freeview receiving equipment you are using, also if an indoor aerial is being used (as is likely at distance involved) make sure the direction it faces hasn't been altered.

paul- Do you mean the guide is not populating, or is not being generated on-screen at all? Try unplugging the box from the mains, leave at least 30 seconds and reconnect.

I will only buy HD when the DOGs disappear, until such time I would prefer more bits to go to the existing standard Freeview BBC 1 & 2 channels and ITV1. Football on the ITV1 channel looks very poor on standard Freeview compared to the analogue picture which was much much better. Ironically when programmes recorded in HD went out on analogue pre switchover they were perfect here in North Macclesfield from Winter Hill and recorded well on my digital disc recorder. I cannot say the same for the standard Freeview output which at times pixellates so much you can see large chunky squares in fast action scenes, extremely disappointing and a huge let down after all this forced investment from the viewer and all the hype from the government and broadcasters. Is another quiz channel a good use of capacity ? NO NO NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How come you can press GREEN to get rid of the PRESS RED button on BBC ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, NEWS & PARLIAMENT but not CHANNEL 301 on Freeview. Why does the PRESS RED/SPORT HOME button have to stay on for the full duration of NEWS & SPORTS programmes on Freeview but goes away after a few secoinds on FREESAT ? This makes it impossible to make a remote recording on Freeview without the blasted thing being burned into your picture on playback !!

I follow Star Trek, Ghost Whisperer and am a true fan of V the new series which has just had it's 1st episode shown on Channel One before Christmas. Could you please tell me where I can follow these programmes after the 31st Jan.
I live in the UK. I do not have Sky and will not be able to afford it..

Irene P: The channel is closing, Sky have not said if they will broadcast any of the channels programming elsewhere.
