I don't know why I cannot receive the Bristol local channels when I live in Bristol. I can receive the channels like Channel 4, ITV, BBC One and all of those for the correct region, which is West, but I cannot receive Made In Bristol and POP and yet I can't understand why. Can anyone suggest why?

It would help if you gave your post code (or one of a nearby shop) so we could work out approximately where you are and which transmitters might be receivable at your location. Not all transmitters in the Bristol area carry the Made in Bristol signals.

MikeP: The post code of a shop at the end of my road is BS106JU and my nearest transmitter would be the Kings Weston Transmitter, which is apparently supposed to have the LBS channels on UHF Channel 30 but I can't receive it for some reason.

SomeGuyFromBristol: The most likely reason for your problem is that you reside a little too much to the North of the Kings Westons LBS transmitters coverage area, indications being that Southmead is the extremity of its Northern coverage.

SomeGuyFromBristol: I would suggest that Mendip could be generally the preferred transmitter for your area. The aerials adjacent to the shops are certainly pointing there, so tune to C51 for LBS.

Hi,
The links in your email to me take me to a 'site map looking' screen with the main screen just showing around the edges,at which point ,I can't do anything with it; is this what they call a broken link, or could it be my email prog (Windows Mail)?
Regards,
Don.

Brianist: If I try to click on 'All transmitters' which comes up after clicking on the main 'Freeview' link, I just get a syntax error.
