From Wikipedia: The channel had been available from launch on UPC Ireland, but was pulled on 22 March 2006. The channel had already been and remains available to Irish viewers on free-to-air satellite for some time, however it has not been listed in the Sky electronic programme guide since its removal on 25 January 2006. ITV3 took its channel number and bandwidth meaning all platforms could be launched simultaneously. - en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org link icon read more about ITV3 on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

Ok have tried to work through this website for help but everything is as clear as mud.
It looks like the signal is clear, I don't have anything else working with the Television upstairs at the time I lost channel 10 ITV 3 - does anyone have any ideas how to get this channel back.

Howard: Can you confirm which transmitter you're using? If you're trying to use Hannington (aerial would point south-west), you may get better results from Crystal Palace both now and after switchover. The aerial would need to point east-ish for CP, and you'd probably need to replace it as an old aerial for Hannington would be Group E, designed to *reject* signals in the Group A range that Crystal Palace uses.

There are a couple of hills blocking line-of-sight from your aerial to Hannington, which is probably the cause of the problem.

It is worth checking that your box is tuned to the transmitter the aerial is pointing at - see Digital Region Overlap for advice on this.

My postcode is SY4 2HG and I have been getting signals from The Wrekin transmitter for over ten years.

Why now does ITV3 Channel 10 keep on failing with "No signal". It mainly seems to occur during peak evening times for quite long periods for the past few weeks. I have tried retuning when it is down, but channel 10 comes up with "Invalid DVB channel2. When channel 10 livens up again, I get the New channel notice, retune and it is reinstated.

With so many complaints surely those responsible for the transmitter should be doing something about it and providing an answer.

I live in Somerset (postcode ta4) and have had a terrible time recieving many channels. i have done a scan and update and have now lost ITV3 COMPLETELY after always having it. The channel has completely vanished. I have had loads of interference recently and am at the end of my tether! What IS the point of having digital if it is always like this?
