From Wikipedia: The channel had been available from launch on UPC Ireland, but was pulled on 22 March 2006. The channel had already been and remains available to Irish viewers on free-to-air satellite for some time, however it has not been listed in the Sky electronic programme guide since its removal on 25 January 2006. ITV3 took its channel number and bandwidth meaning all platforms could be launched simultaneously. - link icon read more about ITV3 on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

Tonight I wanted to watch itv3 but the picture is breaking up so much it is not possible. It is windy so I am wondering if that is causing the problem. I have this problem on some other channels but would have to check to say which these are. I generally just don't watch these channels, but occasionally I would like to. I would appreciate your comments

Subtitles on ITV3 & ITV3+1, transmitted via Freesat are running quicker than the sound & vision over the past week. I've sent an email to ITV. Hopefully this problem will be soon rectified now that Ofcom are auditing subtitle transmissions.

I am watching ITV3+1 (film "Death Becomes Her" via my Sky+HD box and I have the same subtitles problem.
The subtitles are running 5 or 6 sentences ahead of the onscreen action.
I had this on ITV3 and was hoping that the fault would be fixed one hour later for the +1 channel, because a message appeared on ITV3 saying "subtitles are not available at this time."
However, 11 minutes into the movie the subtitles went haywire again.
Reported this to Sky, who were unable to fix it, but it is obviously a fault with ITV3.

Roger Noble: The +1s are one-hour shifts only. It's not likely that technical glitches are corrected for them.

Although I have Virgin TV, ITV3 vanished from my built-in Freeview on my Sony Brava TV and Sony DVD recorder around 3 years ago.
The communal aerial in my block of flats was damaged by storms recently and the Property Factor arranged a replacement. The installer also fitted a 4G filter to the booster and now we have 129 Freeview channels including ITV3.
Hope this helps those in areas affected by 4G.

ITV3 disappeared the other day. I receive my TV channels from Crystal Palace. When is it likely to be back?
