From Wikipedia: The channel had been available from launch on UPC Ireland, but was pulled on 22 March 2006. The channel had already been and remains available to Irish viewers on free-to-air satellite for some time, however it has not been listed in the Sky electronic programme guide since its removal on 25 January 2006. ITV3 took its channel number and bandwidth meaning all platforms could be launched simultaneously. - en.wikipedia.org read more about ITV3 on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

B Cheeseman: Check the signal level - if its poor then look to see if your missing the rest of the mux. Most likely reason is dodgy wiring (frayed cable, etc). You could just swap out the aerial lead from the back of the TV - might be as simple as that.
But if the signal is low on all muxes, with the ITV3 having vanished, then you need to find out where abouts in your system there is a problem.

B Cheeseman: Both programmes channels mentioned are transmitted on the COM4 multiplex, however as said multiplex is transmitted by numerous stations throughout the UK knowledge of your location is essential, as this will then enable a check to be made on the status of the transmitter involved.
Your location preferably supplied in the form of a post code or one from somewhere nearby, i.e: a shop incl post office.

Morag Ritchie: Hi, Morag. AB42 1RY is not giving any results, I'm afraid. My reference website says "error, the postcode you have entered is not valid". We must have a valid postcode or a road or street name and a village or town name to help you or your father. Sorry! Richard in Norwich.

morag ritchie: The only transmitter which broadcasts ITV3 and Drama and covers your postcode is Durris, although it's not predicted to give good reception. There are two other potential transmitters but neither carry the channels you mention. Rather than paying a monthly subscription for Sky, it would be well worth looking at getting Freesat which only carries a one off cost for the box and installation of a satellite dish and cabling.

Simon:
Please will you check that you are receiving the correct channel multiplex for your area and then check what the reported signal strength is on that channel. Then we may be able to determine what the cause is.
