Chris: The commercial multiplex operators declined to provide their services from this transmitter many years ago. This is because the cost of providing the transmissions is more than the profit that would be made from the number of viewers. The companies (now Arqiva and ITV plc) refused the offer of frequency allocations, so these have been withdrawn. This means there will be no additional multiplexes broadcast from this, or any other, public service transmitter.

chris: OK, the mast is Arfon digital TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

There was a fault "ARFON transmitter - Freeview HD Digital TV Off Air from 04:46 on 31 Jan to 05:36 today" but nothing else appears to be wrong.

Can you please check the Freeview reception has changed? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

I live across the Severn and receive Freeview from Mendip. During switchover and various retunes I received some BBC Wales channels - presumably from Wenvoe - but these were replaced by Mendip ones during later retunes.
Assume I could retune again and get specific Welsh channels from Wenvoe as well as my usual ones from Mendip. Particularly want to get S4C. How do I go about it?
