Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Chatton (Northumberland, England) mast?
Chatton transmitter - Chatton transmitter: Possible effect on TV reception week commencing 11/11/2024 Screen may go black on some or all channels
UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

I assume that you believe you get your TV signals from the Chatton TV transmitter although you have posted on the DAB transmitter page. If you do get your signals from Chatton, it is listed this week for Planned Engineering with "Possible weak signal". Depending on your location, weak signal may seem like no signal (digital cliff edge) to your receiver. A full postcode would be needed to check predicted reception at your location and which transmitter(s) and multiplexes you might receive.
Do NOT retune whilst you have No signal or a badly pixellated picture as it often just clears the correct tuning and also you might end up tuned to a weaker than normal signal from another transmitter which will be unreliable. You'll then need to retune again when your transmitter's signals return to normal.

I live in Lesbury and have 3 DAB radios in various parts of the house. I have received very distorted or no radio signals for the past 3 days. Wondering if there is a problem with the transmitter?

Which stations are you having a problem with, is it all of them or just main BBC stations or is it a selection of Commercial ones?
You may be too far away from the Chatton transmitter to get reliable signals from there, and in any event there may be a few not spots for Chatton in your general area.
That said, there is a Local Commercial multiplex transmitted from Peppermore Farm which should carry BBC Radio Newcastle and the new temporary BBC Radio Sunderland, see https://www.bbc.co.uk/rec…0121 and it appears that there's currently no reported problems with that transmitter.
This could be why you are predicted to get good reception of this Local Commercial multiplex and only fair reception of the main BBC stations. Put your postcode into Postcode checker - Digital Radio UK which will show you this.
Because of the addition of this temporary BBC Local station, you might need to retune your radio(s) to receive the multiplex correctly.

Can I get fm radio in Seahouses? I have two Alexas for online radio and can get any radio station through there like in 2021 and 2022. But is there fm radio in Seahouses? I know I can't get lion heart radio on fm in Seahouses as I think you get somewhere out of Beadnell via Seahouses it goes.

You shouldn't have any problem with BBC Radios 1-4 and BBC Radio Newcastle on FM.
Don't know whether you'd get any FM reception from the Fenham transmitter which has -
Classic FM: 101.0 , Capital FM (North East): 105.6 , Heart FM (North East): 96.2 , Metro FM: 103.0 , & Smooth Radio (North East): 107.5

I'll bring my Sony Walkman anyway. If I'm out at Alnwick, I can get Lionheart Radio there. What is it like on Holy Island for FM radio? And at Branxton?

At Alnwick you shouldn't have any problems with those commercial stations on FM from Fenham, as well as the main BBC ones, and Lionheart.
But in Holy Island and Branxton, it'll be more likely to be only the main BBC stations on FM. You might fair better with some commercial stations on DAB in Branxton.
