Colin: If you keep the hard drive, you will keep the programmes. If the hard drive is changes, you will start with a blank - it depends on what the engineer does.

Tim: No, you can't. A + box will only record/play/pause with a . If you want to record without a subscription, you need a + or Freesat+HD box.
