Hi. Wonder if u can help me. My anytime tv seems to have stopped working. Get the impression that I now need sky broadband in order to get it, is that the case?

any time tv on sky works without being connected to the phone line.
turn the box off at the wall, then turn it back on and wait a few mins for it to do its resets and then press the blue sky button on the remote.
if this does not work go throught the down load and reset procedures.
but it is nothing to do with the phone line

Hello Briantist. Have you come across this problem? I have moved house (about 2miles). Old house - A DVB DVR and a DVB DVD worked fine, with new aerial pointing at (i think) Bluebell Hill. New house - Just installed new aerial, but decided to point at Tunbridge Wells (because closer, only 4miles away). New laptop with DVB tuner works okay (not used before), TV did tune in okay on analogue, with same leads etc. (TV does not have DVB) BUT DVB DVR and a DVB DVD both say no signal when i do a full rescan. It is a if the lead is not plugged in. Nothing. I have checked cables and tried repeatedly. I have stuck a booster on, no difference. Any ideas.

How come that the TV Channel List has not been updated yet,
as it is still showing channels
Channel One and Channel One Wales,
when they have stopped broadcasting
on the 1st of February - last week?

Does anyone know if the PIDS (Video, Audio) for Freeview channels are the same across all copies of that Mux from different transmitters? For example, are the PIDS for BBC1 on Mux 1 (Video:600, Audio:601) the same on the Crystal Palace transmitter as they are on the Sandy Heath transmitter?

Don O'Ketty: It shows them without channel numbers as people still need to be able to access the page to complain.

Thanks for that. Whilst it seems easy to get the varying frequencies of each MUX in the public domain - or on sites such as this - and take it into account, the data for the PIDS, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be freely available. It's reassuring to know that the PIDS don't change as it makes the application I am working on easier!

Don O'Ketty: Yes, but you should be scanning the NIT to discover what they are, not hard coding them.
