Site improvements continue to increase speed and popularity
Following the Site speed improvement earlier in the week, I have now updated how the comments system works.
The comments now have a much improved caching system, pages load at about five times faster.
This means that the number of page views of UK Free TV has doubled:

Brian, even with my edge-of-planet download speed, loading has noticeably improved. Great! Thanks.

Sometimes I wish there was a 'delete' option with my messages when I make a speleng mistake.
But then I would be lying about how good my spelling was.

Mark A.: Yes, I agree that this would be a very useful facility, even if as on some sites the delete option expired after a few minutes or so, as that's just about long enough for anyone to suss out that they have maybe misinterpreted what someone has meant, this being very difficult on occasions!
Of course even without the above, I would be quite content just to have a preview facility which incorporates an edit option.

Please could you help me to regain multiplex D channels. These were good and strong before the digital changeover. The BBC help web says there are no problems on Sandy Heath transmitter.
We have cleared all channels as decribed by your goodselves and re-tuned several times to no avail there are no ARQB channels around!
Would a new aerial help. Our is not that old and, we have an indoor booster through the aerial. Thanks for any help. John

John Fuller: If referring to the Mux channel that Ideal World / ITV4 etc is on, its operating on a much lower power than the main stations and with many areas North of the transmitter such as yours finding it difficult receive, try a test by manually tuning Mux Ch67, as its temporarily operating on that channel number until 14th of September.

Hi when will the free view channels in the Caerphilly area of south Wales post code CF83 1TX increase from 13 tv channels. On recent holiday to Looe in Cornwall they had well over double the channels compared to back home.
All the aerials in the area are pointing towards the machen transmitter.
