I live in derbyshire the signal whent down on wednesday 20 9 2011 it has come back to some degree, but now only have half the original channels no DAVE ,PICK TV , QUEST and so on I can get BBC some ITV and some odd ball channels Thats it . PS I am an EX TV Engineer and still work in the Electrical industry its not the kit or aerial ! it is a lot to do with signal strength? THE TRAMSMITTER POWER may be its a cost cutting thing?

Hi from huntingdon (sandyheath) I'm using a sagem pvr6240t.I can get good signal 90% on c24 but after lots of resets, retunes and manual retunes all mux c24 stations are still missing, I have all the others that I can get on humax and newer sagem boxes using same ariel feed so guess not an ariel problem. any ideas please. Thanks Andy

Briantist: re your reply to andrew Jamieson about BT Vision+ it's important to note that the box gets its EPG via BT Broadband rather than through the aerial; so being able to use it fully as a PVR for Freeview channels relies on a subscription to BT Broadband and potentially to BT Vision as well.

Your reply to my post on BT vision and info from Chris Brennan would seem to say that each broadband hub.only supports one vision box?

andrew Jamieson: There is no reason why you can't attach multiple BT Vision boxes to a broadband connection.

Droitwich
Hi,
Apologies as I seemed to make this post under Oxford Transmitter as well somehow :)
Is anyone else confused in the Droitwich area coming off the Bromsgrove transmitter?
DSO started April and footnotes suggest temp channels for Arqiva A & B to operate on 29, 33 and 34 until September finish - which presumably meant after Sutton Coldfield completed last week.
5 tv's and 3 pc tuners all suggest we're still getting the channels on 29, 33 and 34 in addition to the main 23 and 26.
Little note in Digital UK Guide page 13 says another retune date of Sep 28th for the Bromsgrove TX??
Cheers,
Pete
