Why no ITV4 this morning to watch the rugby? Poor reception in High Pressure just like the old analogue days?

dcollard: Very hard to say without a full postcode. Digital signals are not effected by Inversion as often as analogue ones were.

Today 2nd October I retuned my free view box to update channels and now I cannot get Sky News on channel 82, it does not even show in the TV Guide. However a 2nd TV with a Freeview built in is still receiving Sky News on Channel 82.

nathan williams: Why move ITV1+1? Channel 33 is a brilliant partner for channel 3 and is so easy to remember!

nathan williams: The allocation of channel numbers are a valuable asset to the company that owns them, they are very literally "worth millions".
UKTV has retained ownership of 27 by broadcasting Dave Ja Vu for one hour during the night.
The allocations, by DMOL, cannot be changed or revoked whilst a channel remains in the EPG.
Unlike Sky, where Sky decides which channels go where, Freeview has no "dictator", but operates as "free market".

KMJ,Derby: And ITV did go to a lot of trouble to get "33" for ITV1 +1.

When watching free view HD using the new multichannel audio system to HDMI instead of optical link for the 5.1 surround sound tends to go off and all the channels on the display tend to restart on Channel 4 HD and I think a couple of times on BBC HD as anybody else experience this as I have had my receiver back to the technicians twice and can't get to the bottom of it so I need to know is it the broadcaster who is playing with the sound
