Anne: You can try using the Other Channels feature to scan the transponder at 12422 MHz, H polarization, Symbol Rate 27500, FEC 2/3. However, the channel is encrypted and it may be that it can only be decrypted by UK viewing cards.

I don't believe it's possible to watch 5* live online. Some programmes are available on the Demand 5 catch-up service at the Channel 5 website, though again this might not work outside the USA.

Heather: Not really sure without a postcode, but it could be down to too much signal for the new box - Freeview signals: too much of a good thing is bad for you | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

I Live in Warboys not far from Huntingdon recently the 5* channel has been very bad due to breaking signal and loss of picture, similarly 5 USA and other channels such as a couple of the selling channels, is there a problem with the Sandy Transmitter? I know I live in a small village but it is well within the broadcasting range of the Sandy transmitter.

Tonight we could not watch 5* 5USA QVC picture constantly breaking up

gerry brown: The multiplex you refer to (SDN) is on low power from Sandy until 9th May when it will change channel, necessitating a retune. All others are at high power.
