This week's commercial multiplex changes
By a modification to one of the parameters used for broadcast (the "forward error correction") the capacity of the multiplexes increases by 12.5%, which is sufficient for an additional standard-definition channel to be broadcast - see Freeview modes - a simplified explanation.
The changes are taking place on a rolling programme. This week:
Tuesday 8th November
Emley Moor ArqB, Lancaster ArqB, Mendip ArqB, Rosneath ArqBWednesday 9th November
Durris ArqB, Eitshal ArqB, Idle ArqBThursday 10th November
Durris ArqA, Eitshal ArqA, Keighley ArqB, Plympton SDN+ArqA+ArqB, Torosay ArqBFor the full list of known changes in this project see Diary of changes to capacity of ArqB, ArqA and SDN multiplexes .

See 'This week's commercial multiplex changes'. Has the modification to the "forward error correction" caused lip synchronisation problems.
