I live in a flat complex owned by Incommunities (Charlestown, Baildon) in the Idle transmitter area. They are responsible for providing a signal for C1 to 5 which I can receive but since the switch to digital I am unable to receive a number of channels. I've tried the reset you suggest but it didn't work. I've checked the aerial and it is a wideband on the roof with other equipment being housed in the roof space. If I bought myself a wideband aerial is it likely to make any difference.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Michael

I live in Clayton and get very weak signal from Idle transmitter. There is no line-of-sight for Emley Moor due to terrain. Have wideband aerial on roof. How can I improve reception? Do I need a High Gain aerial or one of them Tri-boom ones?

Zak: Can you hang on until 26th September 2012, when you will get a full-strength service from the Bilsdale transmitter?
