NottsUK: Thanks for that. I will have a look at them when I get in (if they are still there).

Briantist: The three HD Disney channels are free-to-air again this morning on transponder frequency 10921. They are identified by their SID numbers, 4016, 4017 and 4018.

I have a Grundig gufsat01sd freesat box. Took mny tv away in caravan last week and on return reconnected it as usual. However, all I get is NO SIGNAL, and I cannot get any input from the freesat box (menu etc.) Have tried retuning the Hitachi TV but when input set to SCART (my box is connected to tv with this cable) have no access to the re-tune button. Cann only get access to the reinstall button when input is to analogue and of course it doesn't pick up any stations. I suspect all is not well with the freesat box, but is there any way I can find out if I am getting a signal from my satellite dish? Don't want to get tv engineer in if satbox is u.s.
Thanks

Yvonne Boyd: If your Grundig box is connected to the TV via a scart lead then the TV's tuning menu is not connected in any way to the operation of the Grundig, as if the TV's input is set to the socket that the scart is connected into then the Grundig's menu should be seen, if it isn't then there is something amiss with the Grundig or the connections to, double check the lead from the dish.
Likewise if your normal aerial is plugged straight into your TV and DVB or "D" is selected on your TV's remote control you should then be able to scan for Freeview channels, "if" that is your TV is also capable of Freeview reception and not just an analogue device. (model number required if in doubt)

jb38 - thanks for your comments. When I set the TV's input to the scart socket, and connect the grundig box to it via the scart lead, there is no sign of the grundig menu, only the words No Signal. The aerial was professionally installed from a previous Sky sat dish, and is connected to the grundig box with a nut to strengthen theconnection. It has worked perfectly until now. I don't think the aerial will connect directly to the TV (which is a Hitachi L19HH01UB) and as its from a sat dish probably wouldn't receive Freeview ?

Hi , can you please tell me if it is the local councils responsibility to ensure tenants in towerblocks have their communal aerials updated? My local council (Greenwich)will not have all flats connected in time for the switch over and people will be left without tv for at least a week.

Yvonne Boyd: If you have connected the Grundig boxes "TV scart" socket (furthest away from the LNB connection) and the TV is set to scart input then if you press the "menu" button on the Grundig's remote control (under the "0" button) the menu should appear whether or not a signal is received, if you don't see the menu appear then that's inclined to indicate that the no signal warning is the actual TV not receiving anything because its still sitting on its internal tuner and not the scart socket.
However if you definitely are on the box then check that the dish is connected to the Grundig's "outer" LNB input socket, as you will get a no signal warning if its accidentally been connected to the inner one.

Yvonne Boyd: Meant also to add, that I see your TV is a Freeview HD ready TV with one scart socket and two HDMI ports, but judging by what you have said it would appear that you only have a dish connection and dont have a normal roof (or loft) mounted aerial hence why you cannot receive Freeview, that is "if" you reside in an area where it can be received!

jb38 Thanks for the time you have spent - had a brainwave and changed my Scart lead - and have now got reception! Picture not 100% but will invest in a better lead tomorrow. Sorry to have overlooked such a basic action. Thanks again for your help.

Yvonne Boyd: Pleased to hear that all is OK now, as it just had to be something simple.
