denise : Considering the circumstances that the dish is being used under then the very first thing to suspect would be that the dish has been accidentally moved, as even the very minutest of movement of a magnitude that an experienced eye would not even detect is enough to knock the signal off.
Is the dish mounted on a pole attached to the caravan? or does it sit on a tripod? because irrespective of what might apply the dish alignment will require checking.

Denise we need more info.
Has the caravan moved?
How long have you used the setup in your present location? Any previous problems?
Have you had/got snow?

I live in an area covered by the midhurst transmitter but though 4 of the Muxes come through quite strongly, the other 2, the ones with the bbc channels, no longer do (they worked fine before switchover). The 746 & 754 frequencies do not tune at all, though I can get channels from the more distant row Ridge or Hannington transmitters (just somewhat less consistent).
Is this an issue with my setup or just coincidence? It does seem strange the other frequencies come through perfectly but this set do not.

Trevor I note that you are having problems with the more powerful Muxes. May be overloaded. Remove any amplification in your system, or try a cheap attenuator.

Just want to say thanks to michael and dave who replied to me on 1st april. I tried hannington and mendip but mendip seems to be better. All my channels are now tuned to mendip and it seems ok most of the time. Might have to move aerial or get a more up to date one if the problem comes back
