From Wikipedia: The channel had been available from launch on UPC Ireland, but was pulled on 22 March 2006. The channel had already been and remains available to Irish viewers on free-to-air satellite for some time, however it has not been listed in the Sky electronic programme guide since its removal on 25 January 2006. ITV3 took its channel number and bandwidth meaning all platforms could be launched simultaneously. - en.wikipedia.org read more about ITV3 on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

sharon: You may require an aerial replacement in order to pick-up the Commercial channels.
Some of the population can only receive the Public Service channels, which I assume are those you have. In some cases a different aerial may pick up the Commercial ones.
Which transmitter are you using? If it's Lark Stone which is roughly north with your aerial vertical it may require replacement.

I'm getting a "no signal" for ITV3 but not for other channels. This has been happening since yesterday. The aerial serves the whole block of flats in which I live. I use Freeview.
Do you know what is causing this failure?

Frances Burton: Without any indication as to which transmitter you are using we can only guess!
If, by any chance, you are using the Oxford transmitter then it has changed its broadcast channel (frequency):
29th May 2013 retunes for Oxfordshire and East Midlands | 4G-at-800 | ukfree.tv - 10 years of independent, free digital TV advice
Your communal aerial system may require adjustment to allow the new channel to pass through from the aerial to the sockets in the flats.

ITV3 ch10 on Freeview has now disappeared from our channel listings since the FreeView update yesterday. We are in Buckingham and I believe we use the Oxford transmitter. Our neighbours are similarly affected so its unlikely our aerial.

...just to be clear we have run the auto-tune on the tellys and ch10 is no longer even an option. Before we ran the update ch10 was there it just came up as 'NO SIGNAL'
