I have now lost all signal can you tell me what the problem might be?
The problem could be one of:
- the aerial has been moved or damaged;
- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;
- the digibox has broken.
If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

After watching on demand I tried to return to normal TV but could only get the guide and then a blank screen.

Hi, can't get any programmes through Freeview...have to go through Humax and the BBC news on this TV is East as opposed to the TV in another room which gets South and all Freeview channels!,. Not a happy bunny and totally confused. Your help would be very much appreciated!,, HP226LJ.
Thanks,
Eve

Eve: The fact that you are receiving BBC One East means it's tuned to the Sandy Heath transmitter rather than the Oxford one.
See if there is an option for "Region" or "Network" and if it's set on whatever Sandy Heath identifies itself by. I have no way of knowing this as I'm not in the area and the information isn't available, but the identifiers are the principle service area, so I guess Sandy Heath might have "East" or "Cambs" in the title, and; perhaps Oxford has "Oxfordshire" in. This option might be available once the scan has complete or it may be in the menu (or it may not be there at all).
The other way around the issue is to have the aerial out for the first 30% of the scan. This is because Sandy Heath's signals are lower down and Oxford's are higher up.

I was watching tv and suddenly it lost signal. It is still showing slight signal strength but no signal quality. I have tried several aerials to make sure it's not the connection or wires. Other tvs in the house are still working fine on the same aerial so I have no idea why.
Any clues how to get signal back?

Sam Townsend: When you say, "other TV's in the house are working fine on the same aerial", are you referring to a number of different outlet points? if you are, then try the TV in question connected into one of these other outlets.
You should also try using a different jumper lead on the problem TV, if this makes no difference to the situation, check that the circular centre piece on the TV's aerial socket (the bit that grips the aerial connector's centre pin) hasn't become widened, crimping it slightly if required.

We cannot assist if we are not aware of roughly where you live. You can help us to help you by giving a postcode (or that of a close by shop or post office) please. From that we can work out which transmitter(s) is appropriate for your location, whether there are any engineering works at present, etc.
