From Wikipedia: Each station broadcasts local breakfast and drive time shows and simulcasts network programming at all other times. Sixteen of the Heart stations are owned and operated by Global Radio with one station, Heart Hertfordshire, owned independently as a franchise. Its programming format was modified in 1996, a year after Chrysalis launched Heart 106.2 in London. - en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org link icon read more about Heart TV on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

Recently found this station and was really impressed. However, after watching for a few days, it is apparent that the videos are on a loop - seen the same one twice already today. Surely there must be an endless supply of videos to show. Do you really have to repeat everything so often? Am off now to channel hop again :(

I live in Salford and I have been unable to recieve Heart TV (or any of the channels on the MUX GIM) since 8/6/2014. I gave not altered anything to do with my equipment or settings and there is record of problems with th transmitter. What is the probable cause of this loss of reception?

Amanda Akrigg :
See the post from Briantist above yours. Heart TV now requires an HD capable receiver (not just an 'HD ready' type).

Tiddler: Heart Radio's Summer Songs was only available on Monday 31st August 2016. Today is Saturday 3rd September and so it is not summer any longer, but it is Autumn. Heart radio is available on all local DAB transmitters (not transponders, because transponders are used for satellite transmissions, not terrestrial transmissions). Heart Extra is available on any DAB transmitter which transmits the commercial Digital One (D1) multiplex. If you tell us your approximate postcode area, post-town letters plus the next couple of numbers, we would be able to tell you your nearest digital radio transmitters. Richard, Norwich.
