This transmitter has no current reported problems

The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Sandy Heath (Central Bedfordshire, England) transmitter.

UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Myrvin: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? With the current hot weather, some parts of the country are suffering with interference from distant transmitters which are not normally able to be received. Do not attempt to retune.

Where are the DAB coverage maps? There's only a transmitter icon bouncing up and down. When I click on the 'pro' mode, there's a better quality map but still no coverage shown. It's been like this for months. Please fix it.

Alan Keith Munro:

I'm afraid me and several other regular contributors have noticed the lack of DAB coverage maps for some transmitters. This might be due to lack of data, but whichever, only the site owner can update the information and there lots of other details that need updating, so if/when it'll happen is anyone's guess I'm afraid.

Perhaps I am missing something but it would be very helpful if there was link to the actual frequency that the Sandy Heath transmitter uses to transmit specific radio stations. It would save a great deal of mucking about. The data is there somewhere I am sure. I am interested in Gold.

As previously mentioned, this site is not as up-to-date as one would hope. A lot of the work needed to do so has to be done manually and derived from pdf documents, not a job I envy the site owner.
There doesn't seem to be any single place that relevant information is presented clearly.
Even Gold's website Radio - Gold is not exactly that helpful, other than mentioning that it's now available DAB+ with increased coverage.

There's some pages on this site (see the MENU top LHS) that have some information which may be incomplete.
List of all DAB multiplexes | free and easy - you'll find a list of the frequencies on this page
All UK DAB radio transmitters | free and easy
Details of all DAB radio station | free and easy
One can get to Details of all DAB radio station | free and easy /GOLD which says it's on the Cambridge mux (11C) which is transmitted (amongst others) from Sandy Heath.
There's also another local mux (Herts Beds Bucks)10D transmitted from Sandy Heath.
Those in addition to the BBC National (12B), Digital One National (11D), and SDL National (11A) networks.

This is a very useful site DAB Ensembles Worldwide | Latest News & Updates but requires some navigating! It has UK history from 1995

To see what stations you should get, you can put your postcode in here ukdigitalradio: Home
There's other info there, but personally I don't find it especially user friendly or intuitive.
You might find this document http://www.frequencyfinde….pdf useful.

Martin: Meant to add Gold DAB+ is on the D1 National mux (11D - 222.064MHz).

The transmitter is listed for Planned Engineering so there may occasions when there is weak signal or it goes off-air.

So much work is being carried out on this transmitter it keeps moving my bbc channels. I have spoken to Panasonic and they are going to see about disabling the auto update on the TV as I am having to retune the TV practically every day. Even my cousin is getting the same problem with his Toshiba TV.
