BBC Newcastle is a public digital radio station radio. UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Used to listen to NUFC home matches on Med wave ( matches on FM). With med wave going, cannot listen because cannot get Radio on my radio in Ponteland..
Any suggestions welcome.

BBC is as mentioned here on the Tyne & Wear . Sites that transmit this multiplex that you may be able to get are Kenton & , but it could be hit and miss in your area. If you are in the vicinity of North Rd., Hill Rd, or the central area you may not get it. Whichever , it's on block 11C, 220.352MHz

If you go to Problems with DAB radio reception | RTIS and put your postcode and house number into the boxes, it should show you which transmitters you might get and what is predicted to be like.
