I don't know where I read that SC uses CH50. Thanks for correcting me.
Hannington, even on its current power level, is a problem in north Oxfordshire, where Hannington and Beckley are the same direction.

I 've found where I read that Sutton Coldfield uses ch50: it's in the Television Viewers' Guide.
I'm pleased that I'm not going mad.
Thanks for the correction.

"Paul: Ofcom's official documentation of Sutton Coldfield's frequencies was re-issued in January this year, to move BBC B's allocated channel from C50 to C40...
Hannington C50 isn't particularly low at 20kW, that actually made it joint equal most powerful pre-switchover transmitter, with Crystal Palace, Rowridge and Sandy Heath! ..." [ Mike Dimmick ].
Thanks for that, Mike. A friend near Banbury was pleased that she had done her own retunes, with no help from me. When I checked her equipment, two of the five MUXes had tuned to Hannington instead of Oxford. Hannington's signals are a problem in this area, despite their current slightly low power.

I know a couple of households near Banbury who have had this problem in the last couple of weeks. Oxford transmitter

Could Richard have accidentally tuned to Hannnington? From Bicester, Hannington is roughly the same direction as Bicester.

"...From Bicester, Hannington is roughly the same direction as Bicester."
Why did I write that?
I meant to say that, from Bicester, Hannington and Oxford are roughly the same direction.

Robert, I think you are more than 7km from the "Mendip" transmitter, but you might be close to one of its relays.

"You say all the Oxford channels are 60% in yet I get at least 21 about 30% in"
Those are not from Oxford, that's why they're weak at your location.

...start to watch the channels rise in the progress bar, then as soon as they get to Mux Ch50 re-connect the aerial and that will exclude anything other than Oxford from loading".
UHF channel 50 is used by Hannington and Sutton COldfield. If you want to store just Oxford, try to reconnect the aerial when the scan is after 50 but before 53. This can be tricky, particularly if the TV dosen't show UHF channel numbers.
