Some friends of mine had a holiday house in Potincaple, and could get off air pictures from Ardentinny. Make sure your Aerial is a group "B" type with the rods vertical.

OK you may say I'm on my High Horse again, tuned my Freesat box to Glasgow postcode to see the local BBC and STV news of the Black Hill switchover. On Tuesday's run up to switchover, nothing on either and on Wednesday's local news nothing on the BBC but STV gave about 2 mins to the subject. I know I've said it before, down here in the West, South West, South Wales area switchovers of Mendip, Stockland Hill and Wenvoe there was a lot of coverage on the local news.

Don't forget to retune after switchover as the digital channels in most cases revert back to the old analogue ones.

If you don't mind listening to radio through a load of hiss and mush, then stay with FM!!!
With FM, even how good the signal is you still get hiss in stereo mode. DAB is a must if you listen to R3 or CFM.

If you tune a Freesat box to a Scottish postcode you only get STV in SD on channel 103 and not even ITV1 HD. If you tune your Freesat box to Non Freesat you can get STV HD, so if this STV HD is not a feed for Freesat is it a feed for Freeview in Scotland?
