Below are all of MikeB's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.peter littlewood: If its your old and new TV, then its likely to be your signal - perhaps local interference or sudden changes in signal strength. But that would normally also have an effect on the picture. An idea of the signal strength, the type of system and the postcode are all needed.

Bob Loader: I'm going to give you exactly the same answer I gave you before - your signal is far too strong! As I said before (and read the 'too much of a good thing' page), 75% is perfect, 100% is overload. You need to reduce your signal strength.

Adrian: If your getting 'no signal', it means just that. And the most likely cause is your aerial system. Check at the point where the signal splits - could be a duff powered splitter, etc.

Mike: We need a postcode, but if your tuned to Mendip, even with a HD tuner (btw - what is a 4K ready set top box?), your not going to get it, because, as their website says http://truechannels.tv/TV…vies , its available on only Sky, Virgin or Freesat.
So if you do want that channel, unless you subscribe, you'll need a dish.

NJ: Yes, it could a lot of things, but the reality is (if you look back through the feedback after this problem has come up) that the most likely explaination is a break somewhere in the system. If thats not the case, then at least thats something to tick off the list.

Jpurkis: Agreed - The BBC has been put in an impossible position, and so is trying to keep as much as possible, but with an ever shrinking amount of resources.
I suspect that cutting its income until its a 'small mediocre shadow of its former self' is actually what they want. Not a bug, but a feature.

Ian Bohill: As you can see at the top of the page, it seems to be working properly (and if there is a delay in updating the info, it would be more like hours, not two days) so yes, its almost certainly your system.

Ian parker: Since the transmitter is working fine, its probably your system (and retuning just made it more difficult to resolve). Check signal strength - HD muxs might have gone first if you've a problem with your system, so check each part of the signal chain.

IVOR HOPKINS: Its a light transmitter and commercial channels dont want to use it. Best suggestion, get Freesat
