Hi, why is it when I put my post code in DH2 3HZ I only get the option of the Fenham & Bilsdale transmitters & not the one that serves my area which is Pontop Pike.........cheers Dave.

Cheers Dave,I already have a wideband aerial fitted so should be ok.I can see the top of the transmitter from our cul-de-sac so it should be a strong signal,I think we are about 8 or 9 miles from the Pontop Pike site.

Briantist, still the same result when I put my postcode DH2 3HZ in to the Freeview predictor,no mention of the Pontop Pike transmitter only Fenham 7 Bilsdale. Can you amend this at all? Cheers ................Dave.

Channel 49 from Pontop Pike should be 50 kilowatts but at present showing poor signal quality. Any ideas, is there work going on at this site.

Hi Brian following on from my question this morning regarding poor reception on channel 49 from Pontop Pike I meant channel 59 carrying the food network & movies for men etc. Doing a signal test on a Panasonic pvr & my Toshiba tv the signal strength is very poor. Any ideas, thanks in anticipation.........Dave.

Hi,when using your site setting location Freeview prediction I put my post code in which is DH2 3HZ & the local transmitters that come up are Fenham & Billsdale. The nearest transmitter to me & the one I,am receiving my full Freeview service from is Pontop Pike. Please could you rectify this as people from the Tyne Tees area could be confused.
