On satellite, there are six versions of Channel 4:
10714 H 22000 5/6 DVB-S QPSK
SID service_name
9211 Channel 4 (London)
9212 Channel 4 (South)
9213 Channel 4 (Midlands)
9214 Channel 4 (North)
9215 Channel 4 (Ulster)
9216 Channel 4 (Scotland)
These are the advertising regions of Channel 4.
On BSkyB and Freesat, viewers get the version appropriate to their postcode.
There is only one Channel 4 HD on satellite which means only the London advertising region is present in HD.
Thus, putting Channel 4 HD on 104 doesn't make much sense.
As can bee seen, the different versions are distinguished by their ServiceID (SID).
It came as a surprise to me that just one Channel 4 and one Channel 4 HD, as identified by their SIDs, exist on DTT.
That would seem to imply that there are no advertising regions on DTT.
Of course as far as actual programme content, there is no difference between them, so for EIT purposes no need for different SIDs.
On satellite the different versions are in the same place and so need to differ by SID. That is not the case on DTT where they are separated by geography.

Channel 4 HD was disabled, though not deleted, on Freesat.
TRT World, the HD version for HD capable boxes and SD version for SD only boxes, was added to the private Freesat test regions:

Channel 4 HD first appeared on Freesat on 19 Apr 2011 as the only service on 12606.65 V 27500 3/4 DVB-S2 QPSK.
I don't have a record of the Channel 4 HD bitrate but the transport stream bitrate was 40.906 Mbps.
The excess bitrate over that used by Channel 4 HD was wasted in transmitting what are called Null Packets.
That state continued until the transponder move on 21 Nov 2011 to 11126.50 V 22000 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK, again as the sole service.
Transport stream bitrate was 42.584 Mbps.
On the 28 Mar 2012, a modulation change to 11126.50 V 22000 5/6 DVB-S QPSK occurred in preparation for the arrival of 4seven.
Transport stream bitrate was now 33.791 Mbps.
On 29 Mar 2012, the precursor of 4seven appeared on the transponder and there has been no change since in terms of occupancy.
Video Bitrate (Mbps) sampled at 33 <= dPCR <= 38 ms intervals over 15 seconds for 11126.50 V 22000 5/6 DVB-S QPSK (20/02/2018 21:43:06)

03.418 | 01.609 | 02.485 | All Other Streams
33.791 | 33.790 | 33.791 | TS Bitrate
A rough calculation gives the amount of useless transmission - Null Packets - over the years as more than 500 terabytes.
