I have received an email today. I used to get my weekly email on a Saturday which suited me fine.
If I log-in to the mail settings tomorrow and confirm weekly, will it change the day to Saturday?

Something strange going on here Brian!
In my email, the link to Camlough Camlough (Northern Ireland) Freeview Light transmitter | free and easy for 22 years produces an empty page. My email says 4 posts.
Likewise the Idle page, Idle (Bradford, England) Full Freeview transmitter | free and easy for 22 years
The email says 2 posts.
Unless it's Spam that's being removed?
My link to Durris, Durris (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) Full Freeview transmitter | free and easy for 22 years doesn't give all the page numbers just before the comment box. This is something that has happened for a while with quite a few transmitter pages from email links.
My link to Brougher Mountain is similar, Brougher Mountain (Northern Ireland) Full Freeview transmitter | free and easy for 22 years
As an aside, many many moons ago, all email links used to go to the part of the page with the new comments. These days it's always the top of the page (sometimes not the latest page either!!).
I'm stopping here atm, as I have other things to get on with.

Is this happening on any of Ch.5's sister channels - 5USA, 5Actions, or 5+1 etc.?
I can't check Ch.5 atm because of the programme that's on - wildlife commentary. Not noticed anything on 5Action or 5USA just now when I checked. I'll look again later (I'm on Mendip).

Sorry for the finger trouble above (double post), the other strange thing in the last 24hrs or so, is when you click a comment link, the name of the poster doesn't appear in the (reply) comment box now.
(PS. Are you working for Network Rail now?).
