If you are receiving the main BBC channels OK (on Mux BBCA) this is on UHF channel 23, then you ought to be ok with ArqA mux on UHF channel 22. Check your TV tuning to make sure that you are tuned to UHF 22 for ArqA just in case it's accidentally retuned at some point to a weaker signal from another transmitter. Otherwise you may have some obscure Aerial/Cable/TV fault or Interference.
I would check all your connections and if possible try another TV at the same spot, also check you don't have any "boxes" with a UHF output that are tuned to Ch.22.
Another consideration might be if you've had any other new equipment of any sort (electrical or electronic including phones) that might be generating interference, or indeed anything that's recently gone faulty.

Roy:
In case you come back here to read again, that is certainly very odd behaviour. Considering the other sets are giving 98% signal, I thought it might be worth considering if the Sharp has a more sensitive tuner and is being overloaded which would have the effect of desensitising the receiver giving this lower figure.
You could try unplugging the aerial plug from the TV and holding it so that the outer of the plug is in contact with the socket but the inner pin is not (this isn't always possible) and see what effect that has.
If you have an aerial amplifier in your system, try bypassing/removing it or if it has variable gain - turn it down temporarily to see what the effect is.
If it appears that you have too strong a signal then you'll need to reduce it by removing any amplifier if it doesn't reduce it too much (or turn it down if variable) or buy an attenuator to plug into the Sharp set. This can be purchased quite cheaply on-line for a couple of pounds or so - variable ones are more expensive.

Mary Kerr:
I would follow Mike's advice and that would include getting the aerial/connections at it checked by someone.

Tim Jeanes: Is this a recent change to your reception conditions? To confirm, are you having problems with ALL HD channels or is it just BBC1/ITV/Ch4 etc HD channels (all on BBC Mux B) or is it just BBC4/BBC News HD/QVC HD etc (all on COM7 & 8 muxes).
It may be worth checking that a "retune" has tuned to the correct UHF channels for the Mendip muxes - C58 for BBC B, C33 & C35 for the COM7 & 8 muxes.
The other consideration is the possibility that the recent high winds have moved/damaged your aerial or coax cable/connections to the aerial.

CCTV Freeview channel 260 is a streamed channel (Internet, and so not dependant on the Transmitter) and is indeed showing the Colour Bars. I don't know how long this has been so as I look at those channels very infrequently. For example, Connect 4 on channel 262 (also streamed) has been showing the Test Card for some considerable time IIRC.
In all these cases you'd need to contact the service provider (CGTV for CCTV) to find out why this English service is not currently available. A quick search has not provided any readily available information.

Roger Scott: This might be a tricky one to solve!. I can only assume that you were originally receiving BBC4HD from Crystal Palace COM7 (Ch.33) as COM7 on Hannington is on Ch.32 and your Hannington Aerial would be in the wrong diplexer input to get that signal without severe attenuation. BBC4HD moving to COM8 (Ch.35 Crystal Palace) or Ch.34 Hannington possibly won't have been helped by the slightly lower power used for COM8.
My understanding for Hannington is that the Local TV Mux aimed at Basingstoke is on Ch.51 whereas there is one aimed at Reading on Ch.29. I can again only assume you were getting the Basingstoke one. The Crystal Place local Mux is on Ch.29, and you got both of these because of your location and aerial directions.
Now that you are using a splitter instead of a diplexer, there could be some conflict with the Ch.29 muxes which stops you getting London Live, but there ought not be be an issue with That's Hampshire on the Ch.51 mux. However, Local muxes are on a much lower power compared to the main ones. Diplexers don't usually have much insertion loss, whereas a splitter can have quite a lot depending on type and this could reduce the signal strength sufficiently. There are types with low insertion loss which may not be what you have, but I would firstly try to see exactly what you can currently receive on each aerial plugged directly into the set without a diplexer or splitter to check you can get what you'd expect, you'll then have an idea whether the insertion loss from the splitter is the primary problem.

Roger Scott: Forgot to add, that if you are getting a significant signal on Ch.29 from your Hannington aerial (the mux aimed at Reading) then this will be a much more difficult issue to resolve at this time, also after March 21st this year COM7&8 at Crystal Palace move to Ch.55&56. These muxes at Hannington move to Ch.55&56 on April 18th. So it's possible that your current diplexer will give you a working solution after that date.

Roger Scott: OOOps, sorry, my last statement is incorrect as the Local Muxes are also moving channel.
Crystal Palace is moving from Ch.29 to Ch.35 on March 21st (with apparently some increase in power - not sure of detail), and Hannington is moving from Ch.51 to Ch.32 on April 18th and the other local Mux on Ch.29 is moving to Ch.34 on that date.
So a standard diplexer is not going to provide a solution, whereas a low loss splitter might.
Also with COMs 7&8 on Ch.55&56 from both transmitters after that date, though they are SFNs you hopefully won't have a problem, but you definitely shouldn't if your Crystal Palace aerial is a Group A aerial and so won't get Chs.55&56 with any decent strength.

Iain Davies: And to be clear, I did give you a clear answer -
