I'm afraid I can't get either of those sites to produce anything useful. I get -

Nope, never had any problems with .nl sites. Stupid thing was that the first link appeared to work first time. Must have been a passing glitch as it's all working now.
Once nick has a filter installed it'll be possible to re-assess the situation.

The transmitter isn't currently listed for Planned Engineering and I can't find any currently listed faults but 5Action is on the SDN multiplex and finding fault reports from COM multiplexes can be like getting blood from a stone!
How long have you had the problem?
Are the other missing channels also on the SDN/COM4 multiplex?
For which TV Channels are carried on which multiplex, see
Channel listings for Industry Professionals | Freeview
As you haven't given a full postcode, we can't check your predicted reception for the SDN or other multiplexes, or whether you might be vulnerable to interference from a new/upgraded mobile mast now using 700MHz, if so you could be entitled to a free Filter.
Do check in your TV Tuning section that you are correctly tuned to Sandy Heath's UHF channels, as you may receive other weaker signals from another transmitter which often disappear as the weather changes.
They are C27, C24, C21, C33, C36, & C48 that's in multiplex order -
BBCA/PSB1, D3&4/PSB2, BBCB HD/PSB3, SDN/COM4, ArqA/COM5, ArqB/COM6
If you can normally get the Local multiplex from Madingley, it's on C35.
If you provide a full postcode, we should be able to advise further.

Have you contacted Restore TV for the filter yet?
Until you fit one, the answer to such questions may be complete guesswork, I've already mentioned the possible effects of strong signals on the front ends of any amps or receivers.

Mary Judd :
Have you retuned your TV since you moved? You might previously have been tuned to the transmitter at Plympton rather than the one at Caradon Hill, the latter should give a better signal if your aerial us pointing at it.
Roughly what compass bearing is the aerial pointing? Ideally it should be 310 degrees - that's roughly North West, and its rods (or squashed Xs) should be horizontal? Where is the aerial - outside on a pole on the roof or in the loft?

Hi paul.
Obviously ongoing engineering work when they are likely to be either on reduced power or the Reserve Antenna has got to be annoying when your reception gets affected.
A lot of main transmitters have had extensive periods of maintenance last year and I can be fairly sure that the works are weather dependant as well, which means with some of the weather we've had of late, things won't have happened as quickly as would have been liked.
I would assume that, as with the Wenvoe transmitter where I know for certain that the works have involved the greasing of all the mast stays/guy cables, similar work has to be done on all masts, and they can't work close to the mast and antenna when on full power etc.
But also to advise that you aren't predicted to get the best reliable reception for the SDN and ArqA multiplexes, in addition to which you do have at least one mobile cell within 200m of you and it's right on the line-of-sight to Sandy Heath!
I find it rather surprising that you haven't received a postcard from Restore TV according to a check on their website https://restoretv.uk/post…ure/
I can't comment on Giovanni's predicted reception as he hasn't given a full postcode!
Can you look in your TV Tuning Section for Signal Strength and Quality % figures for each multiplex's UHF channel and post them?
Do you get the Local multiplex on C35?

Restore TV have given you a load of nonsense. There is NO WAY the mast (whichever one they were talking about) was upgraded for 700 MHZ mobile usage 6 years ago because the frequencies were still in use for TV and they hadn't been auctioned either.
As you haven't given a full postcode I can't check how many masts may be near you, it may not be the absolute nearest mast giving you a problem - IF you still have problems!
No, you shouldn't rip out the aerial etc and start again!!
Do you have an amp/splitter feeding more than one TV?
Try manually retuning PSB2 again UHF C34. Check in your LCN 800s to see if the TV channels got put up there for some reason.
Mendip has been on Planned Engineering on and off for many weeks and was still listed recently (I could have sworn it was on the list yesterday but isn't today!!). However, since before Christmas, it seems several multiplexes were not operating on either full power or were on the Reserve Antenna (PSB2 was not one of them). That all changed yesterday.
All the multiplexes appear to be back to normal.
If you are still having problems, check in your TV Tuning section for the Signal Strength % and Quality figures for each multiplex's UHF channel and post them, along with a full postcode (or put that in the Settings box - top RHS of the page).

I meant to add I tried to do a bit of research to see which other transmitters you may more easily "see" in more "normal to slight lift" conditions. I didn't have time to do as thorough or exhaustive an investigation as maybe it would be nice to do, and one of the website tools I was using has pre-B700 channel numbers (which is where I think the spurious Heathfield info came from!). Oxford is certainly one possibility for C37.
